However, holidays have been declared in several offices for September 8 and 9, wherein Sunday falling on September 10 as a public holiday.
Holiday has been announced in all the private offices, educational institutions, and other institutions within the National Capital Territory of Delhi on Friday, September 8, while offices and institutions will remain closed automatically where Saturday and Sunday are public holidays. Offices and institutions will remain closed on September 8 and 9 (Friday and Saturday) due to the G-20 Summit, where Sunday is a public holiday. Meanwhile, several private offices, educational institutions, and other institutions will remain closed on September 10 (Sunday), where this day is not a public holiday. All the commercial banks and financial institutions situated within the jurisdication of the New Delhi police district will remain closed on September 8, and they will also remain closed on the next two days, wherein Saturday and Sunday are public holidays, which come under the purview of Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act 1881 (26 of 1881).

Commercial banks and financial institutions will remain closed on September 10 (Sunday), where this day is not declared a public holiday. All commercial and business establishments located within the jurisdiction of the New Delhi police district will remain closed on September 8–10, as per Section 16(3)(1) of the Delhi Shops and Establishment Act, 1954.
