The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a major traffic advisory in view of the “Baba Bageshwar Dham Pad Yatra” led by Shree Dhirendra Krishna Shastri Ji, which will be conducted on Friday, November 7, 2025.

When will Baba Bageshwar Dham Pad Yatra Start?

The yatra, beginning from Adhya Katyayani Mandir, Chhattarpur, will move forward to Shree Banke Bihari Mandir, Vrindavan (U.P.), starting at 11:00 AM onwards.

More than 50,000 devotees along with a lot of vehicles are expected to take part in the procession, according to police estimates. Considering the heavy footfall and ensuring smooth passage of traffic, elaborate restrictions and diversions have been planned, especially in the Mehrauli and Chhattarpur areas of South Delhi.

Street Which Will Remain Closed

There will be traffic restrictions on various stretches during the day. LMVs, including private vehicles, will be regulated or diverted as necessary.

Y-Point, Chhattarpur Dera More (SSN Marg): 11:00 AM to 08:00 PM

CDR Chowk Y-Point, Chhattarpur: 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM

Zeer Khod Dera More: 01:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Nov 7) and 07:00 AM to 01:00 PM (Nov 8)

The traffic police have warned that commuters must avoid SSN Marg, Chhattarpur Mandir Road, and 100 Foot Road during yatra hours.

Restricted Place for Vehicle Parking

Parking will not be allowed from CDR Chowk to Dera Mandi and Zeer Khod from 08:00 AM to 10:00 PM on November 7. Vehicles found parked on these stretches will be towed and prosecuted under the law.

Alternative Routes for Daily Commuters

Delhi Traffic Police has also suggested alternate routes to ease congestion: Those who are travelling to Faridabad from SSN Marg may take MG Road via CDR Chowk. Commuters going to Gurugram via Zeer Khod Road can take Mandi Road via CDR Chowk.

Vehicles from Dera Gaon towards Chhattarpur should take Bandh Road, Mandi Road, and Mehrauli–Gurgaon Road.

All emergency vehicles, including those belonging to Delhi Police, Fire Brigade, and ambulance services, will be given free passage on the restricted roads while discharging duties.

However, they have been advised to avoid the affected stretches on November 7 to prevent delays.

The Delhi Traffic Police has urged commuters to plan travel in advance, use public transport as much as possible, and follow traffic advisories displayed on digital signboards and social media channels.
