After 50 Days in Tihar Jail: Arvind Kejriwal’s Message To The People

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal addressed party workers shortly after his release from Tihar Jail, expressing gratitude for their support and emphasizing the importance of upholding democratic values. CM Kejriwal thanked the public and the judiciary, particularly the judges of the Supreme Court, for their role in his interim bail.

“I want to thank all of you. You gave me your blessings. I want to thank the judges of the Supreme Court, it is because of them that I am in front of you,” said Kejriwal, acknowledging the significant support received during his legal proceedings.

CM Kejriwal says, “I had promised to come back soon, here I am

During his address, CM Kejriwal outlined upcoming plans, stating, “Tomorrow at 11 am we will go to the Hanuman Temple at Connaught Place and at 1 pm, we will address a press conference at the party office.”

The Supreme Court had granted Kejriwal interim bail in the Delhi excise policy case until June 1, allowing him temporary freedom amidst ongoing legal proceedings. The CM’s statements reflect his determination to continue serving the public and advocating for democratic principles, as he navigates legal challenges while fulfilling his duties as Delhi’s Chief Minister.
