Delhi Court Grants Gangster Sandeep ‘Kala Jatheri’ Parole for Marriage Ceremony

Delhi’s Dwarka court has granted gangster Sandeep, also known as Kala Jatheri, custody parole to attend his marriage ceremony. He has been given six hours of parole to perform his marriage on March 12 and Grih Pravesh on March 13. Sandeep is currently in custody for several serious cases, including alleged involvement in organized crime.

Additional Sessions Judge Deepak Wason granted the parole after hearing submissions from Sandeep’s counsel and considering the Delhi Police’s response. The court has instructed authorities to take Sandeep into custody for the marriage on March 12 between 10 AM and 4 PM, with the police arranging for security.

On March 13, Sandeep is to be taken to Village Jatheri for the Grih Pravesh ceremony between 10 AM and 1 PM. The application for parole was made in a case at Police Station Dwarka South under sections 307, 387, and 120B of the IPC, as well as the Arms Act.

Sandeep’s application cited humanitarian grounds for the parole, stating that his family has fixed his marriage ceremony for March 12 and the Grih Pravesh for March 13. The plea argued that marriage is a constitutional right under Article 21 and that both Sandeep and his fiancée are of legal age as per the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

The plea further emphasized that denial of marriage would violate Article 21 and that Sandeep wishes to establish a family and live a respectable life. Sandeep’s parents are said to be suffering from old age ailments, with no one else at home to care for them.
