Amidst the clash caused by the insulin between Tihar jail and Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi court on Monday directed All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) to form medical board to medically examine the sitting CM of Delhi.
As per ANI, the medical shall also decide the diet chart and the exercise plan of the AAP supremo. Further declaring that there should be no deviation from the prescribed plan.
Recently Kejriwal on Monday had written to the superintendent of Tihar Jail alleging that he has been asking for insulin every single day and the doctors of AIIMS never said there is no need to worry about his condition. Days after Tihar administration statement that neither the issue of insulin was raised by Kejriwal, nor it was suggested by the doctors.
The CM of Delhi further claimed that Tihar administration is under political pressure.
So far, there is no comment or reaction from the Tihar authorities yet.
Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by Enforcement directorate on 21st Mrach 2024. In relation to the Delhi excise policy case. And is in judicial custody since 1st April.
