Delhi BJP meets Police Commissioner on Kejriwal’s accusations

A delegation from the Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva, met Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora on Tuesday, submitting a complaint regarding the baseless allegations made by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that the BJP tried to break the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by luring 7 to 21 MLAs.

The complaint urged an investigation into the Chief Minister’s allegations. They also asked the Commissioner to take legal action against the AAP leaders who made the allegations, including Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, PWD Minister Atishi Singh, and MLAs Durgesh Pathak and Dilip Pandey.

Following the submission of the complaint letter, Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva said that as soon as the Chief Minister and his associates made false allegations against the BJP for luring the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs, the BJP refuted them and asked the CM and other AAP leaders to present evidence, but they remained silent. “Yesterday also, we challenged Kejriwal to come with the evidence to prove the allegations and meet the Police Commissioner with us, but even today he did not come here,” said Delhi BJP chief Sachdeva. “Kejriwal is habitually making false allegations against BJP leaders and then going silent or apologizing.” He added that this time they have decided to expose the lies of Arvind Kejriwal and submitted a complaint to the Police Commissioner demanding an investigation and legal action against CM Kejriwal and other AAP leaders.

Last week, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal shared a post on Twitter and accused the BJP of trying to break the Aam Aadmi Party by luring 7 to 21 MLAs. However, the Delhi unit of the BJP refuted this allegation on the same day and challenged the Chief Minister to prove the allegation.
