Shri Lalrintluanga Sailo, Member of Mizoram Legislative Assembly elected from 2-Dampa (ST) Assembly Constituency passed away on 21st July, 2025. Consequent upon his death 2-Dampa Constituency (ST) seat becomes vacant.

He was re-elected in the 2023 Mizoram Legislative Assembly election, representing the Mizo National Front.
