Cyclone Biparjoy: Haryana likely to receive heavy rain and strong wind

According to IMD, the weather will change once again in Haryana due to the activation of western disturbance and Biparjoy cyclone, there is a possibility of rain and strong wind in the state.

After June 16, there will be a change in the weather in Haryana. Rain and strong winds may occur in many parts of Haryana. Giving information about this, Director of Meteorological Department, Chandigarh, Manmohan Singh said that there will be a change in the weather in Haryana for the next several days.

There is a strong possibility of rain at many places in the state from June 16 to June 18 and 19. He told that once again the western disturbance is likely to become active in Haryana, due to which there will be a change in the weather.  Apart from this, the Biparjoy cyclone in the Arabian Sea is also moving up to India, its effect will also be seen in Haryana.

Manmohan Singh further told that Biparjoy cyclone will first hit Gujarat and reach South Haryana via Rajasthan. However, as of now there is no possibility of much impact in Haryana because of Biperjoy. But its effect will be clearly acknowledged only by June 18 and 19.

Although cyclones are very fierce in the sea, they gradually weaken after hitting the land. Cyclone Biparjoy will also weaken by the time it reaches Haryana. But sometimes it has been seen that the effect of cyclones can also increase. Therefore, as a precaution, a warning has been issued by the Meteorological Department.

Paddy sowing is also to start in Haryana from June 15. Regarding which Manmohan Singh said that the weather is good for paddy sowing. Usually there is less rain during these days. But this time the farmers will be benefited by the rains. Because more water is needed at the time of paddy sowing and due to rains, the water shortage of the farmers will go away to a great extent. In addition to this, there will be a drop in temperature due to change in weather.
