According to data from the Rajasthan Police Headquarters, the Kota range topped the state in case disposal, followed by Banswara, Pali, and Udaipur in second place. Jaipur range ranked third. This efficient handling of cases has been credited to the leadership and monitoring of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, who ensured strict measures against crime.

Bedam emphasised that the government’s firm stance on crime has forced criminals to leave the state, helping to restore peace and security.

In 2023, under the Congress government, approximately 3.17 lakh FIRs were registered in the state. However, under the BJP government, this number dropped to around 2.97 lakh in 2024, showing a reduction of 20,000 FIRs. This decline reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining law and order.
Improved Case Disposal And Reduced Pendency Rates
Despite the free registration of FIRs, the number of cases decreased, thanks to the government’s strict approach. Additionally, the police focused on quick justice, which helped reduce the pendency rate to less than 3%, a significant improvement from the previous year. The case disposal rate also improved, dropping from 20% to 17%. These efforts underline the BJP government’s dedication to ensuring a safer and more secure Rajasthan for its citizens.
