In a disturbing act of animal cruelty, a live cow was tied to a tractor and dragged through a gaushala in Sihawali village, Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh. The unsettling footage, which went viral on social media on November 2, depicts the cow being pulled through the cow shed, bound to the vehicle.
Following public outrage, authorities responded promptly, filing charges against several individuals, including village head Omvati, her husband Roopkishore, caretaker Kalu, and tractor driver Nem Singh. The incident has been registered under the Animal Cruelty Act, underscoring the pressing need for stronger animal protections.
