Congress report blames AAP for loss in LS polls

The report mentioned that Cong and AAP alliance failed very badly as people rejected it and thus it blamed the AAP of not winning.

The Congress, which contested the Lok Sabha elections in the national capital in alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused it for loss on all seven seats.
It is worth mentioning that the Congress contested in three seats while the AAP contested in four seats.

Congress sources said that the fact-finding committee formed to find out the reason for loss in Lok Sabha elections has submitted its report to party chief Mallikarjun Kharge.
The source said that in the two-page report, it has mentioned that all the three party candidates — Kanhaiya Kumar from North East seat, JP Agarwal from Chandni Chowk and Udit Raj from North West seat have accused the AAP for not providing adequate support to the grand old party. The report also mentioned that as the party candidates were seen with the Congress leaders, many of the party workers and cadres sat at their homes.

The report further mentioned that Congress and AAP alliance in the national capital failed very badly as people rejected it and thus it blamed the AAP of not winning a single seat from the national capital. The BJP won all the seven seats for the third time in a row. The Congress was again unable to win a single seat from the national capital.

The Congress president had formed committee to find out the reason for not doing good in several states. Congress, meanwhile, won 99 seats in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, while the I.N.D.I.A. bloc won 234 seats. The BJP won 240 seats, falling short of majority on its own, however, it formed government with the support of NDA allies which put the number to 293 seats.
