“Congress has no issues and agenda”: Rajasthan Dy CM Diya Kumari

Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari launched a strong criticism against the Congress party while praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), asserting that the BJP will win all 25 seats in the state with a significant margin.

Commending PM Modi, she expressed, “People trust Modi ji’s assurances and the work he has accomplished. We have never had a visionary leader like him before. The changes he has brought to our country in these 10 years, the public has witnessed and felt them… many crucial decisions have been made. All this is due to the determination of the Modi government, and after seeing this, the public knows who is advancing the country and safeguarding its future.”

In criticism of the Congress, she questioned their intentions behind investigating people’s properties, suggesting a hidden agenda. She reiterated PM Modi’s assurance that neither reservations nor the Constitution are under threat. She criticized the Congress for lacking issues and an agenda, accusing them of misleading people and potentially tampering with the Constitution.

She also questioned the Congress on their choice for the Prime Ministerial candidate.

Deputy CM Diya Kumari and Rajasthan Minister Kirodi Lal Meena conducted a roadshow in Sawai Madhopur. Rajasthan’s Lok Sabha polls are being held in two phases, with voting for 12 seats held in the first phase on April 19 and voting for the remaining 13 seats scheduled for the second phase on April 26. Counting will take place on June 4.

In the 2019 elections, the BJP won 24 out of 25 seats in Rajasthan, with Hanuman Beniwal of the Rashtriya Loktrantrik Party also securing a seat.

The first phase of voting for 102 parliamentary constituencies across 21 states and Union Territories was held on Friday, recording a voter turnout of nearly 64 per cent.
