Cong strategises to plot united front amid exit poll predictions

In a late-night session, the Congress Core Committee gathered at Rajiv Bhawan under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Congress State In-charge Kumari Shailja.
The primary focus of the discussion revolved around all possibilities in the light of exit poll predictions. While all parties have begun their meetings with their MLA to demonstrate their strength, Congress is leaving no stone unturned to keep its flock together taking the hung assembly predictions into account.
Prominent figures of the party including PCC Chief Deepak Baij, Deputy CM TS Singhdev, and other senior members, were present in the meeting.
The meeting aimed to consolidate Congress legislators, fostering unity for future political manoeuvres. Detailed analyses of the exit poll statistics were presented, indicating a favourable outcome for Congress in Chhattisgarh, with a significant challenge expected from the BJP.
While three polls predicted a decisive victory for Congress, others indicated a competitive scenario. Leaders expressed confidence in surpassing exit poll predictions. Kumari Shailja emphasised the importance of maintaining internal cohesion.
