Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that the construction of an international cricket stadium in the region will boost the development of the district.
Speaking after symbolically starting the construction by batting, the CM said, “We have allocated 50 acres of land to the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) for this stadium.
This project will significantly contribute to the district’s economic growth and development.”
He urged officials to complete the stadium construction at the earliest to fulfill the expectations of cricket enthusiasts.
Land for a Stadium in Mysuru Too The CM added that the KSCA has requested land for a cricket stadium in Mysuru as well. “We will provide land in Mysuru too,” he assured.
