The Bharatiya Janata Party officially named Nitin Nabin as its new national president on Tuesday replacing JP Nadda. Nitin Nabin sworn in as party Chief at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi in the presence of Prime minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Ministers JP Nadda, Nitin Gadkari, and Piyush Goyal and Chief minister of BJP ruling state along with party leaders and workers.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met BJP New Chief Nitin Nabin at the BJP Headquarters after he assumed charge as the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party and conveyed her congratulations and best wishes.
The Chief Minister said that rising from a simple and humble background to the position of National President through consistent work in the organisation as a dedicated party worker is an inspiring journey.
Appointment of Nitin Nabin as National President at the age of 45 clearly demonstrates that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s confidence in the strength of youth goes beyond rhetoric, and is consistently reflected in the party’s organisational framework, decision-making processes, and approach to leadership development, Gupta added.
Nitin Nabin was elected unopposed as the 12th National President of the BJP after emerging as the sole candidate in the organisational polls.
The 45-year-old leader succeeds JP Nadda, becoming the youngest BJP Chief.
