The focus of the world is now on Uttarakhand, according to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who spoke at the inauguration of the “Swachhata Sewa Pakhwada” on Monday.
“I am grateful to our ‘Swachhta Doots’ whose commitment and efforts have written a new chapter of cleanliness in the state. Not only in the country but the world’s focus is now on Uttarakhand and the most significant contributor to this is cleanliness which is moving forward with the help of people. The honour that the state has achieved would have been impossible if you had not made efforts, hence I congratulate all of you,” CM Dhami said.
PM Modi’s birthday was celebrated with a number of events hosted by the Bharatiya Janata Party. On Sunday, the party unveiled its ‘Seva Pakhwada’ (period of service) special campaign. The “Seva Pakhwada” campaign consists of six engagements or activities in which the countrymen can participate and, by doing so, send PM Modi their best wishes on the occasion of his 73rd birthday. One must log into the “NaMo” App with their mobile number or email address to sign up for any of these activities.
