Tuesday saw the dedication of a Mahilla Mohalla Clinic as well as five new Mohalla Clinics by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Speaking at the event, Kejriwal said, “The doctors and staff in all our mohalla clinics are very good. They have won the hearts of people”.
AAP national convenor said that eleven mohalla clinics were functioning in Greater Kailash.
Keshopur Sabzi Mandi, Shahbad Diary (a general Mohalla clinic and Mahilla Mohalla clinic), Govindpuri, and Kalkaji Market are the locations of the new facilities. There are currently 533 Mohalla Clinics operating in the National Capital, the party claimed on its social media platform X, which was formerly known as Twitter.
“Out of which 512 are working in Morning Shift and 21 in Evening Shift,” AAP tweeted.
Mohalla Clinics, which were launched in 2015, are community health centres initially introduced in New Delhi that provide a free basic package of necessary medical services, including prescription drugs, diagnostic tests, and consultations.
