In a remarkable feat of creativity and dedication, 13-year-old Presley Shekinah from Chennai has set a new world record by creating a 600-square-foot portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi using 800 kg of millets. The class 8 student from Vellammal School, Chennai, completed the massive portrait as a tribute to PM Modi ahead of his birthday on September 17.
Presley Shekinah, the daughter of Pratap Selvam and Sankeerani, embarked on this artistic journey to honor the Prime Minister Narendra Modi by creating a unique portrait made entirely of millets. The project, which took place in Kolpakkam, Chennai, saw the young artist working non-stop for 12 hours. She began her work at 8:30 am on Sunday and completed the massive artwork by 8:30 pm the same day.
Presley’s stunning achievement has been recognized by the Unico World Record under the student achievement category. R Sivaraman, the director of Unico, presented Presley with a world record certificate and a medal to honor her accomplishment.
Presley’s parents, school administrators, and teachers were overwhelmed with pride at her incredible dedication and talent. Her portrait not only showcased her artistic skill but also paid tribute to the nation’s leader in a novel and inspiring way. Friends, relatives, and school officials expressed their admiration for the young artist’s perseverance and attention to detail.
