A Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official stated that the fire affected five shops near Fatehpuri Masjid.
Several cars were gutted in a fire at a parking lot near police station Mandavali in the Madhu Vihar area of Delhi. The fire which broke out last night around 1:17 AM has been brought under control.
The DFS received a call about the fire at 3:12 am, and eight fire tenders were dispatched. The fire was extinguished by 5 am, he added.
In another incident, a fire broke out around midnight in a parking lot in east Delhi’s Madhu Vihar area, burning 17 cars, an officer said.
The fire was reported at 1:17 am, and nine fire tenders were deployed, managing to control the blaze in four hours. No injuries were reported in this incident either.
