CEC Rajiv Kumar Dismisses Allegations of EVM Battery Level Discrepancies, Assures Robust Security

In response to allegations concerning ‘varying EVM battery levels,’ Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar has firmly stated that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are entirely “safe and robust.” He compared the batteries in EVMs to those in calculators, explaining that they are not like mobile phone batteries that require daily charging.
