The full list of nominees for the 2026 Grammy Awards is out, and it features none other than Kendrick Lamar, with a total of nine nominations for his album “GNX,” released in 2024. Kendrick Lamar once again leads the pack, a true reflection of his reign over global music.

The trio also received a nomination for Best Global Music Performance for the track “Daybreak.”

Charu Suri Brings Jazz with an Indian Touch in Grammys 2026

More pride comes in the form of Indo-American jazz composer and pianist Charu Suri, who earned a nomination for her album “Shayan.” Known for her different musical slant, Suri has combined Indian ragas with Western jazz to come up with a genre that has succeeded in captivating audiences the world over. The nomination showcases that Indian classical influences are slowly getting recognition in global jazz music.

Siddhant Bhatia’s Spiritual Tribute Gets Global Recognition in Grammys 2026

Indian composer Siddhant Bhatia also made India proud with his nomination for the album “Sounds of Kumbha.” Featured on the album are 12 tracks and over 50 international artists performing as a dedication to the Mahakumbh festival, which is among India’s largest spiritual gatherings in Prayagraj.
