YSRCP President and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has affirmed that all the irregularities in supply of adulterated ghee took place during Chandrababu’s term and he has been trying to shift the blame on political opponents and said the state budget has been a bundle of lies which carries his trademark deception.

Speaking to media here on Thursday, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave a blow by blow of the nexus of Heritage Company and Indapur Foods and how Chandrababu’s favoured companies could get undue favours by reversion of disqualification, accepting rejected tankers and awarding contracts at inflated rates.

Soon after the Indapur name came into light, Heritage has changed its status from manufacturing unit to co-manufacturing unit and has awarded the contract to supply ghee for Rs 650 per kg while the same company had supplied ghee at Rs 278 and Rs 321.

It was during TDP’s term that rejected tankers were accepted, disqualification was revoked on favoured companies and all the companies including Bola Baba were encouraged by Heritage.

When all the fingers of suspicion are pointing towards Chandrababu, he has been blaming YSRCP shamelessly. The entire Tirupati laddu issues is embedded in the corruption and irregularities in ghee supply that happened during the TDP term, which was endorsed in the CBI charge-sheet, and evidence is in the open, he has been bluffing and dragging God into politics.

On the state budget for the year 2026-27, he said it is a bundle of lies and the figures do not add up as the estimates do not match the requirement expenditure. While growth rate has been blown up it does not reflect in the standard of living of the people as their per capita income does not correspond to the claim of growth rate.

Chandrababu has once again cheated all sections of people as has been his wont since 1999 and never kept his promise ever since. Farmers, students, women, youth, employees are cheated while the allocations for the schemes are meager which shows that the number of beneficiaries are being weeded out regularly.

Health, education, agriculture and welfare sectors are badly affected as the election promises of the coalition are not being implemented and people are vexed with the government.

State finances are mismanaged it stands in the bottom of the state revenues list of the country. The budget book format has been changed to hide the actual loans taken amount, he said.
