Jammu, March 24: Despite facing ongoing challenges such as infiltration and drone dropping incidents, Border Security Force (BSF) troops stationed at the octroi post of RS Pura international border in Jammu celebrated the festival of colors, Holi, with fervor and enthusiasm.
BSF jawans joyfully smeared colors on each other, adding vibrancy to the occasion, and danced to the beats of traditional Holi songs. The rhythmic sounds of drums and dholaks filled the air as the jubilant troops embraced the spirit of ‘Rang Barse’.
Amidst the festivities, slogans reverberated, expressing reverence for the motherland and celebrating the valor of the BSF, reinforcing the unity and patriotic fervor among the troops.
Senior officers, recognizing the significance of the occasion, actively participated in the celebrations, distributing sweets and fostering camaraderie with the jawans, further strengthening the bond within the BSF fraternity.
The celebration of Holi on the international border stands as a testament to the unwavering spirit and resilience of BSF troops, who continue to stand guard, ensuring the safety and security of the nation’s borders, even amidst adversities.
