Once again, Delhi faces a bomb scare as Tihar Jail receives threatening emails following similar incidents at schools and hospitals. Jail authorities have alerted the Delhi Police about a bomb threat received via email, echoing recent incidents targeting educational and medical institutions across the city. Days after numerous schools and hospitals in Delhi were targeted with bomb threats via email, Tihar Jail became the latest recipient of such a threat. The prison administration promptly notified law enforcement officials about the alarming message, initiating an investigation into the matter. Fortunately, subsequent searches conducted on the jail premises yielded no evidence of any explosive devices, providing some relief amidst heightened security concerns. Earlier in the day, four hospitals in Delhi, including Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, GTB Hospital, Dada Dev Hospital, and Hedgewar Hospital, received similar bomb threat emails, prompting swift action from the Delhi Fire Services.
