Bomb Threat Calls Create Panic in Multiple Delhi Schools: DPS Dwarka and Many More Targeted in Morning Threats

A number of schools in Delhi faced bomb threat calls on Saturday morning, and the atmosphere was that of panic. The targeted schools are DPS Dwarka, Krishna Model Public School and Sarvodaya Vidyalaya.

Police personnel and bomb disposal teams were immediately rushed to the schools upon receiving the information. The students and teachers were evacuated as a precautionary measure, and searches of the premises are being conducted in depth.

Delhi NCR School also Receive Bomb Threat

In another incident, a school in the national capital also got a bomb threat on August 22. The Delhi Fire Service received the news about the bomb threat at 7 AM, which led to the police and fire department staff rushing to the location.

Schools Receive Bomb threat Via Emails

Even on August 21, at least half a dozen schools in the city had been sent bomb threats via email, such as Andhra School in Prasad Nagar, BGS International School, Rao Man Singh School, Convent School, Max Fort School, and Indraprastha International School, Dwarka.

On August 20, close to 50 schools in Delhi received bomb threats once again via email. Searches were carried out prior to the cops labeling them a “hoax”.
