Body Parts Found on Mumbai Beach Lead Police to Suspect in Murder Case

Mumbai Police have arrested a man, Mohammad Sattar, in connection with a murder after dismembered body parts were found on Gorai beach. The investigation began when a male body, cut into seven pieces, was discovered on the beach, prompting police to form a special team to identify the victim and track down the suspect.

According to officials, the accused was located in Bhayandar slums and confessed to the crime. Police revealed that the accused and the victim had consumed alcohol together before the incident. Sattar then allegedly slit the victim’s throat, packed the body parts into plastic bags and a paint box, and transported them to Gorai Beach in an auto-rickshaw to dispose of them. Further investigation is ongoing.
