BJP’s Sanjay Seth Accuses Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren of Instigating Infiltration

Union Minister Sanjay Seth has accused Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren of instigating the infiltration of Bangladeshi Muslims into the state. Seth claimed that Soren issued an order two and a half years ago instructing police not to intervene in cow smuggling, suggesting that the directive was aimed at appeasing a specific voter base.

Concerns Over Criminal Activities

Speaking to media, Seth stated, “Who instigated the infiltration of Bangladeshi Muslims in Jharkhand? In Ranchi, Bangladeshi infiltrators are living in large numbers and are involved in criminal activities.” He asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed to removing these infiltrators from the state.

In addition, Seth addressed the topic of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), indicating that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has confirmed that the UCC will be implemented in Jharkhand, although it will not apply to the tribal community.

Prime Minister Modi’s Comments

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led coalition, labeling it a “Ghuspaithiya Bandhan” (infiltrators’ alliance) and “Mafia Ka Ghulam” (mafia’s slave) for its alleged support of Bangladeshi infiltrators. He stated that the mafia has taken control of the Hemant Soren government and warned that continued support for these groups threatens the tribal population in Jharkhand.

Electoral Promises and Upcoming Elections PM Modi pledged that if the BJP forms the government, it will fill 300,000 government positions transparently and ensure that no poor individual is left without housing. The Jharkhand Assembly elections are scheduled for November 13 and 20, with vote counting set for November 23. In the previous assembly election, the JMM secured 30 seats, the BJP won 25, and Congress captured 16.
