BJP’s senior spokesperson, Syed Jafar Islam, shared his thoughts on various issues. Speaking about the challenges posed by the opposition coalition INDIA in West Bengal, he questioned whether the opposition, consisting of Congress and the TMC government, with a combined vote share of 84 percent, could effectively cooperate. He suggested that if the entire opposition contested separately, it would benefit the BJP, and the voters would decide which government is forming. He also mentioned that they have already prepared a strategy for a one-to-one fight with the opposition.
Regarding the Ram temple issue, he emphasized that it’s not an election issue for them but a matter of faith. He stated that they have worked together with all parties to make it a reality, and this work began after the Supreme Court’s decision. He likened it to the way they accelerated the Chandrayaan mission and gave ISRO a boost.
When asked whether Rahul Gandhi has become a more serious leader, he suggested that it’s for the people to decide, but he noted that there seems to be a change in Rahul Gandhi’s behavior, and he appears to be more cautious.
