BJP chief Nadda chairs regional consultative meeting

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President, J.P. Nadda, presided over a crucial meeting of senior party leaders from southern states and other regions to deliberate on the party’s preparations for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections and other significant political endeavours. The regional consultative meeting, held at the BJP Telangana headquarters in Hyderabad, witnessed the participation of eminent personalities, including party General Secretary B.L. Santhosh, MPs, MLAs, state unit presidents, and several other senior leaders.
The event commenced with a warm reception as Union Minister and newly-appointed Telangana BJP President, G. Kishan Reddy, welcomed J.P. Nadda upon his arrival at the Begumpet airport. Expressing his anticipation, Reddy took to Twitter and shared, “Shri J.P. Nadda ji will address the meeting of BJP presidents from 12 states today in Hyderabad.”
The primary objective of the meeting was to discuss an action plan drafted by G. Kishan Reddy to fortify the party’s presence in the southern states, which will be the focal point of discussions during the day-long deliberations. Additionally, the gathering aimed to deliberate on the forthcoming Assembly polls in Telangana, scheduled to take place later this year.
The meeting assumes great significance as it provides a platform for top BJP leaders to exchange ideas, devise strategies, and assess the party’s preparedness for the upcoming electoral battles. With an eye on the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the discussions are expected to center around key issues, political alliances, and campaign strategies required to strengthen the party’s prospects in the southern regions and other states.
