Bihar Election 2025: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has declared that the second phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 will be held on November 11, covering a vast stretch of constituencies in northern and eastern Bihar.

The Second phase will be extremely important to frame the poll dynamics of the state, covering a number of politically key districts such as West Champaran, Madhubani, Purnia, Bhagalpur, and Aurangabad.

Bihar Election 2025: Overview and Details

The polling in the second phase will be conducted across more than 100 assembly constituencies, involving a rich blend of urban and rural electorates. It is the continuation of Bihar’s democratic process after the first phase on November 6.

The 243-strong Bihar Assembly is seeing a multi-cornered fight, with the NDA, ruling party, the RJD’s Mahagathbandhan, and Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj party as major contenders. This phase will try out the ground-level organization and voter support of these alliances, particularly in border areas such as Kishanganj and Araria, where minority votes prove to be crucial.

Bihar Election 2025: CAPFs Arrangements for Security

The Election Commission has also deployed more Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) in sensitive areas to maintain peaceful voting. The new voter booth system that restricts voters per booth to 1,200 should reduce queue management complications and congestion, officials hope.

Special arrangements have been made for improved accessibility by elderly people and differently-abled citizens.
