The police launched a criminal investigation against Idarah Fallah-u-Darain and a preliminary enquiry into Al Huda Educational Institute and its managing trust. Both actions were based on specific intelligence and complaints about law violations.

- Suspected breaches of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).
- Possible tax evasion due to incomplete or improper financial records.
- Absence of required accreditations for the institute.
- Illegal construction of buildings on state land without proper permissions.

Authorities Assure Strict Legal Action
Both investigations are being closely monitored at senior levels. Authorities assured that the probes will be impartial, thorough, and time-bound. They emphasised that strict legal action will follow against anyone found guilty.
Boosting Accountability in North Kashmir
Officials say these actions signal a strong move to enhance transparency and accountability in North Kashmir. By investigating both social and educational organisations, the administration aims to ensure legal compliance and proper use of resources.
Residents welcomed the crackdown, saying it reflects the government’s commitment to curb unlawful practices and protect community interests. Authorities also indicated that similar audits and inspections could be conducted across other districts to maintain law and order and uphold financial transparency.
