Illegally residing in Mumbai, a Bangladeshi butcher Jihad Howladar has recently been arrested in connection with MP’s murder Anwarul Azim Anar.

While in interrogation, he has claimed, that it took him whole night to mutilate and dismember the body.

While doing its work, Jihad along with others drank alcohol. Later in next day, Jihad came out of the building wear MP’s clothes, as his cloth got stained with blood.

Earlier, a joint team of West Bengal CID and Dhaka metropolitan police also revealed, that killers took Rs 4.3 lakh from MP’s apartment.

Meanwhile, another accused Md Siam Hossain alias Bhola, also took the money and most likely, is hiding in Nepal according to investigators.

Currently, detective chief Harun-ur-rashid has completed the reconstruction of the murder at Rajarhat complex.

How It Happened?

As per police sources, around 3 pm, MP Azim came to his apartment with Faisal and Shimul Bhuniyan. They had also left their shoes outside and entered inside the apartment. This is where, Jihad Howladar and Siam (also known as Saeem) was present.

According to Jihad’s confession, first, celesty Rahman (who was already upstairs) made MP unconscious, after coming inside the room.

He confidently did it, because CCTV camera was already covered with cloth and adhesive tapes.

Then, the body was transferred to kitchen or bathroom, where the body was dismembered, separating body & flesh and later, packed into plastic bags.

The CCTV footage also revealed, that around 4 pm, MP’s shoes were taken inside the apartment.

According to Jihad’s confession, these body parts were disposed near Krishnamati Bridge on the Bagjola Canal in Bhangar. Then, his mobile phone and clothes were also disposed near Gabtala Market.

Moreover, Siam fled Nepal, with MP’s sim card. While passing through bihar, he activated his own phone. Which is why his location displayed Muzaffarpur.

These details come around the time, when Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid and his team have revisited the crime scene for the second time, along with Krishnabati in Bhangar.

But, unlike the preceding four days, the police refrained from conducting search operations to retrieve Anar’s body parts due to adverse weather conditions.
