Baba Siddique’s Final Words: Bullets Hit me, I Won’t Survive

The bullets hit me. I won’t survive. I will die,” NCP leader and former MLA Baba Siddique was heard saying while being shot by three shooters on Saturday night at Kherwadi.
CCTV footage near the office of his son, Zeeshan, revealed that the shooters had waited outside for more than half an hour, drinking sharbat handed out during a Dussehra celebration.

Party workers present at the spot demanded justice and urged that the mastermind of the assassination be traced and brought to book.

Zeeshan went out to get something to eat and the father was sitting in the office. BabaaSiddique maintains that the incident occurred around 11 am. They had attended an event of local community function and afterwards, performed Namaz in the office.

The Nirmal Nagar police have arrested two of the three shooters, Gurmail Baljit Singh (23) and Dharamraj Kashyap (19), while the third one, Shivkumar Gautam (23), is still at large.

Confirming the case, a police officer revealed that the attackers began firing at Baba Siddique as he came out of the office. Siddique was rushed to Lilavati Hospital but was pronounced dead there later in the night. The party workers decried the nexus behind Bishnoi and demanded that the real brain of the plan be arrested.
