Preparations for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of infant Lord Ram, Ram Lala, in Ayodhya, are in full swing, scheduled to commence Vedic rituals on January 16, leading up to the main ceremony on January 22, 2024. The ongoing construction of the Ram Lala Temple in Ayodhya was showcased by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust, anticipating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s presence for the grand temple’s idol installation.
The much-anticipated event has drawn extensive arrangements, expecting dignitaries from various backgrounds. Ayodhya, known as Lord Rama’s birthplace, holds immense spiritual, historical, and cultural significance for India.The consecration ceremony has invited distinguished saints, contributors to the nation’s honor, and notable personalities. A specialized Tent City, equipped with essential amenities and a ten-bed hospital, has been set up in the new Teerthakshetrapuram (Bag Bijaisi).
Around 150 doctors have pledged their service rotations at this hospital. Additionally, food distribution centers, community kitchens, and meal areas will be established across the town.Invitations extend to 4,000 saints from diverse sects, spiritual leaders, journalists from 1984 to 1992, families of Karsewaks, and representatives from various spheres like art, agriculture, media, and sports.
The creation of Rama Lala’s idols involves three sculptors—Ganesh Bhatt, Arun Yogiraj, and Satyanarayan Pandey—capturing the innocence of a five-year-old child. Rituals, led by Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid ji and Lakshmikant Dikshit ji, will commence on January 16. Subsequently, a 48-day mandala puja cycle, guided by Vishwaprasann Teerth Ji, will follow the consecration.
