Ayodhya is experiencing a landmark moment as Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares to hoist a saffron flag atop the Ram Temple, marking its formal completion. This comes nearly twenty-two months after he led the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol in the temple’s sanctum.

Symbolic Significance of the Flag on the top of Ram Temple

The 10×20 feet triangular flag features the Sun, ‘Om’, and the Kovidara tree, symbolising the strength, brilliance, and divine presence of Lord Ram. The event coincides with Vivah Panchami, the sacred day honoring the divine marriage of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, adding a deep spiritual meaning to the ceremony.
