The Government of Andhra Pradesh today announced a landmark strategic investment partnership with RMZ Group at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, aimed at developing next-generation mixeduse, digital, and industrial infrastructure across the State. The announcement was made in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology & Electronics, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and the Chairman of RMZ Group.

As part of the partnership, RMZ Group proposes to develop a large-scale Global Capability Centre (GCC) Park at Kapuluppada Phase-1 IT Park in Visakhapatnam. The project envisages up to 10 million square feet of built-up area over approximately 50 acres, designed to attract leading global enterprises and significantly strengthen Visakhapatnam’s rapidly growing GCC ecosystem.

Complementing this, RMZ Group plans to establish a hyperscale data centre cluster in the Visakhapatnam region with a targeted capacity of up to 1 gigawatt, developed in phases across 500–700 acres. The facility will support advanced digital and AI workloads, with a strong focus on sustainability, green power integration, and future-ready infrastructure.

To promote balanced regional development, RMZ Group also proposes an Industrial and Logistics Park at Tekulodu in Rayalaseema, spread across approximately 1,000 acres. The project will anchor manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics activities, catalysing industrial growth and creating large-scale employment opportunities in the region.

Together, these integrated developments represent a proposed investment of approximately USD 10 billion over five to six years, with the potential to generate employment for around one lakh people across IT, data centres, industrial manufacturing, and logistics sectors.
