In a pivotal move to bolster social welfare, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu kickstarted the distribution of the ‘NTR Bharosa’ pension scheme at Penumaka village in the Mangalagiri Assembly segment today. The CM himself visited the residence of a beneficiary to personally hand over the pension amount, emphasizing the government’s commitment to uplifting the lives of its people.
“This initiative marks the first step in our journey towards improving the living standards of every citizen,” stated CM Naidu, addressing a gathering of enthusiastic locals.
The scheme, spanning 28 different categories, disbursed a substantial sum of over Rs 4,408 crore to 65.31 lakh beneficiaries across the state. Designed to provide financial security and support to vulnerable sections of society, including widows, elderly, and disabled individuals, the ‘NTR Bharosa’ pension scheme represents a significant stride in ensuring inclusive growth and development.
The event underscored the state government’s proactive approach in enhancing socio-economic stability and fostering a more equitable society, resonating positively among the gathered community members.
