Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, urging the youth to contribute to making India a developed nation by 2047. Shah highlighted the surprising global recognition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s achievements.

Celebrating India’s Achievements

Shah emphasized the impact of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, started by Modi, which he described as a powerful symbol of patriotism and the resolve to create a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) by 2047. He noted that this campaign is energizing not just Gujarat but the entire nation.

Goals of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’

Ahead of Independence Day, Shah outlined the three key goals of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ initiative:

  • To remind citizens of India’s freedom struggle.
  • To highlight the country’s achievements over 75 years of independence.
  • To encourage all 1.4 billion citizens to pledge towards making India a global leader by 2047.

Modi’s Leadership and Achievements

Shah praised Modi’s leadership, recalling his decisive actions against terrorism and Naxalism, including surgical and air strikes. He also commended Modi’s efforts in combating COVID-19 by providing free vaccinations to the entire population using advanced technology.

Call to Action

Shah urged the youth to take an active role in achieving Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047. He stressed that the country’s future depends on the collective efforts of its younger generation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hoist the national flag at the Red Fort on August 15 and address the nation for the 11th time from this historic site.
