Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, began a two-day visit to West Bengal .He would hold a public gathering and assess the BJP’s organisational capacity in the state. Prior to the upcoming month’s rural elections, Shah is in the state to boost the party’s organisational infrastructure.
Around 12:40, he landed at Paschim Bardhaman’s Andal airport. Sukanta Majumdar, the leader of the opposition in the West Bengal Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, and other top BJP officials greeted him.Senior state BJP said, “Amit Shah Ji will inaugurate the district party office in Suri and address a public gathering in Birbhum in the afternoon.”Later in the evening, he will meet with the state party leaders and take stock of the organisational situation at a city hotel.To strenghten the outreach of BJP in Bengal, Shah’s programme BJP’s ‘Pravas’ campaign will be launched to regain 144 Lok sabha seats lost seats in 2019 general election.
