The total family presence makes Mukesh Ambani join forces with the presence of his Maha Kumbh Mela, and, of course, with the Mukesh family staying at Prayagraj’s Arail Ghat. With that said, Kokilaben Ambani had joined her children to attend part of the celebration of Mahakumbh through the Triveni Sangam.
Anant and Akash Ambani, Mukesh’s sons, were seen walking towards a boat at Arail Ghat under tight security; with Akash’s wife Shloka Mehta, and their children, Prithvi, and Veda. The two daughters of Kokilaben accompanied her.
The Ambani family opted for simple ethnic wear on the occasion. Mukesh and Anant sported identical blue kurta pajamas, with Akash in a multicolored kurta. Shloka Mehta opted for a white anarkali suit, and the youngest of them, Prithvi and Veda, were dressed in the same teal outfit.
The family was found moving towards the boat, probably for a holy dip at the Sangam, where devotees were gathering for the Magh Purnima festivities. The Kalpvas tradition, an integral part of the Maha Kumbh, is expected to reach its end on Wednesday as well, with the holy dip and rituals.
In January, Mukesh’s younger brother, Anil Ambani, and his wife, Tina Ambani, had also visited Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh. A video shared on social media showed Anil and Tina Ambani wearing simple white attire, preparing for the holy dip, accompanied by security personnel.
The Uttar Pradesh government reported a smooth congregation of 450 million worshippers at Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Mela, with special traffic arrangements prepared for the final day of Kalpvas during Magh Purnima.
