On Thursday, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court issued an order to preserve the CCTV footage of May 23 within the court complex. This decision came after an application was filed by Manish Sisodia’s legal team, alleging that he had been mistreated by security personnel inside the court premises.
Furthermore, the Delhi Police also submitted an application to the court, seeking permission to produce Sisodia solely through video-conferencing. The request was made due to concerns that physical production of Sisodia in court leads to chaos, with the presence of AAP supporters and journalists in the court corridors. Special Judge MK Nagpal took note of this situation and clarified that until a decision is made regarding the application, Sisodia will only be presented in court through video conferencing, and there will be no physical appearance in court.
