Akasa Airlines Flight From Delhi To Mumbai Carrying 186 passengers Diverted After Security Alert

An Akasa Airlines flight carrying 186 passengers, including 1 infant and six crew members, received a security alert on Monday during its journey from Delhi to Mumbai. The airline took immediate action, diverting the aircraft to Ahmedabad, where all passengers were safely deplaned.

In an official statement, Akasa Airlines mentioned that the diversion to Ahmedabad was in line with prescribed safety and security procedures. The Captain followed all necessary emergency protocols, ensuring a safe landing at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 10:13 hrs.

This incident follows a similar security scare on May 31 involving a Vistara flight bound for Srinagar. Despite these disruptions, all passengers were reported safe, highlighting the airlines’ commitment to prioritizing safety and security measures.
