Ajit Pawar wants to become NCP state party president

Ajit Pawar has expressed his wish in front of the party supremo Sharad Pawar himself in a party program. When it was Ajit Pawar addressed the dias, he made it very clear “Relieve me from the opposition party leader position and give me some position in the organisation itself and then see where I can take this party”.
Post that current state party president Jayant Patil has said that now Ajit Pawar wants me to count days. Interestingly Ajit Pawar has expressed this wish post-Sharad Pawar’s declaration of Supriya Sule as working president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Although Supriya Sule is the working president of NCP she has been given additional responsibility in the states like Maharashtra and the northern States this has given strength to Supriya Sule by Sharad Pawar and this is something that in between, which makes the role of Ajit Pawar Limited. And that’s why now Ajit Pawar has the first time expressed his wish or rather claim for the post of the state president of NCP.
We have recently seen the party supremo Sharad Pawar first gave his resignation from his presidential post and then he reversed it. This is also called a strategy of Sharad Pawar to limit the role of Ajit Pawar because the entire party has seen after the resignation of Sharad Pawar it was Ajit Pawar who came to the forefront and clearly said, that it is time for new leadership to come up and the party workers will have to accept this.
But post that, within a short span after Ajit Pawar expressed his willingness Sharad Pawar reversed his decision. It is also considered a kind of defeat to Ajit Pawar. When Supriya Sule is the working president of the party and Jayant Patil the state president the role of Ajit Pawar becomes very limited to LoP and to make the line bigger now Ajit Pawar has expressed his willingness
Why only state President? This makes Ajit Pawar’s role prominent in the party, particularly when the Lok Sabha and assembly elections are around the corner. A state president has all the authority for the selection of a candidate as well as the constituencies. When it comes to Maha Vikas Agadi in constituency distribution party president plays a vital role. And NCP is in the big brother’s role in MVA with a maximum number of MLAs. So if MVA wins the assembly election then CM will come from NCP. And one who is state party chief his claim is bigger when come to selecting CM. Keeping this in mind Ajit Pawar now played the Party President’s card. If he wins then he will again but if he doesn’t get it, then also he has a victim card to play.

Ajit Pawar’s wish to become a Chief Minister is no longer hidden as served the state as a Deputy Chief Minister many times and now only the Chief Minister position is left for him but when it comes to the leader of this party for the chief ministerial position name of Supriya Sule and Jayant Patil always comes. To make his own position in the party as a candidate for the Chief Minister it is important for Ajit Pawar to become the state party president. If that happens then only he can limit the role of Jayant Patil and can advise Supriya Sule to remain in the National face of the party.
Ajit Pawar has tried becoming unreachable to express his suffocation. He joined hands with Fadnavis with a few MLAs. But that also didn’t work out. Now finally he has understood in party Sharad Pawar’s word is final. And if wish to fulfill his ambition then he will have to work smartly.
