Ahead of polls, Congress’ bid to cover political ground in Haryana

After organising the ninth Vipaksh Aapke Samaksh program in Hisar, now the Opposition Congress is planning to organise programs in all the ninety constituencies. Right now the Opposition has to present its program in Rohtak parliamentary constituency, but before that, the party will decide the program to cover all the ninety constituencies. Gadgad Hooda and his supporters were further encouraged by this program than the crowd gathered in Hisar on Sunday.
Politically, the ruling BJP-JJP alliance is currently dominating the Hisar parliamentary constituency. Of the nine assembly constituencies in this region, five—Hisar, Nalwa, Adampur, Bawanikheda and Hansi have BJP MLAs, while JJP has control over four constituencies—Narnaund, Uchana, Barwala and Uklana. Brijendra Singh is the BJP MP from Hisar. Even after this, Hooda made them feel the power by mobilising more crowd than the previous eight Opposition programs. Of course, Bhupender Singh Hooda is the main speaker in the program, but Rajya Sabha MP Deepender plays the biggest role in making these events successful. It is said that now the pair of Hooda and state President Udaybhan have started working on a strategy to measure all the ninety circles. When will the program start and what will be its form, it will be decided soon by calling a meeting of the party.
It is believed that Congress can now go among the people in the name of “Vikalp Aapke Samaksh”. Last time too, Congress had taken out a rath yatra in the entire state regarding the elections. At that time Ghulam Nabi Azad, in charge of Haryana affairs, went on a tour of the state along with all the senior leaders of the state Congress.
On the same lines, CM Manohar Lal Khattar had taken out “Jan Samarthan Yatra” in Haryana during the 2019 Assembly elections, now Congress is also preparing to go among the people and workers in all the ninety constituencies. The Congress is reportedly planning to cover all the ninety constituencies by February has been prepared internally.
The Congress returned to power in the 2005 assembly elections with 67 seats. At that time there was anger among the people against the INLD government and the Congress was chosen as an alternative. It ruled the state for ten consecutive years under the leadership of Hooda. In the Lok Sabha elections of 2014, where the impact of the Modi wave was visible on parliamentary seats, the BJP came to power for the first time with an absolute majority of 47 seats in the assembly elections held in 2014 itself In 2019 too, the BJP won under the leadership of Manohar Lal Khattar. Now it is trying to end its 10 years of exile. The biggest challenge before the Congress is the factionalism and infighting among its leaders. The clash between veteran Congress leaders over the post of Chief Minister has now come on the road.
On the one hand, the Hooda camp, where the opposition is engaged in making a strategy for its next program after you, on the other hand, the Anti-Hooda camp is also active. The anti-hooda camp group—SRK or Selja Kumari, Randeep Singh Surjewala and Kiran Chowdhary—is doing a parallel programme.
