A major security scare unfolded on Tuesday, November 12, after IndiGo Airlines received a bomb threat email warning of possible attacks on flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Five Airports Under Tight Security Watch

Security has been ramped up across five major airports, including those in Delhi and Mumbai. Extra personnel have been deployed at entry gates, baggage checks, and terminal areas. Aviation and intelligence agencies are working together to assess the credibility of the threat.

The bomb threat comes days after the Red Fort blast in Old Delhi that claimed nine lives. The incident has put national security forces on edge, prompting heightened surveillance at key transport hubs.

Manhunt for Red Ford EcoSport Linked to Blast

Meanwhile, Delhi Police have launched a hunt for a red Ford EcoSport believed to be connected to the Red Fort explosion. Investigators suspect it was used as an additional vehicle by those behind the attack.

“Five Delhi Police teams have been deployed to trace the car, which is believed to hold crucial evidence in the ongoing investigation,” officials said. Police in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh have also been alerted, as suspects may have crossed state borders.
