On Sunday, Tirupati’s ISKCON temple received an email bomb threat warning that ISIS terrorists intended to target the site. Shortly after, a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) and a dog squad arrived to search the premises. However, no explosives or suspicious items were found during the operation.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter, with police actively gathering more details.
This incident follows a similar threat on Friday when four hotels in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, received bomb alerts via email. Although each location was thoroughly searched, no explosives were detected.

Additionally, a wave of bomb threats has recently impacted both domestic and international flights in India. On Thursday, over 80 flights received bomb warnings. According to PTI, “20 flights each of Air India, Vistara, and IndiGo received bomb threats, while Akasha Air threatened 13 flights.” Furthermore, Alliance Air and SpiceJet each faced threats on five of their flights.
