More than 15,000 years ago, well before the existence of organized regions and religions, Adiyogi, located in Tamil Nadu at the Isha Yoga complex, or the first yogi, transmitted the science of yoga to his seven known disciples of life, the Saptarishis. He transmitted 112 various ways in which human beings can surpass their constraints and reach their finest goal of life. The teachings of Adiyogi were not rituals but transformations of the self, with the fundamental message that authentic well-being and liberation are available only by looking inward: “In is the only way out.”
