As the MCD election is to take place next month, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held a crucial meeting to review the party’s preparation. The party will launch the “Kejriwal Ki 10-Guarantee” on Thursday in the national capital.
Senior leader Manish Sisodia, during a media briefing, said, “A meeting of the senior leaders was held under CM Arvind Kejriwal today. The meeting took note of how the BJP-ruled-MCD has been working so far. We have discussed in detail what the AAP plans to do for the common people through the MCD, and how to help the traders, youth, and elderly of Delhi. It has been decided that CM Arvind Kejriwal will launch the ‘Kejriwal is Guarantee’ campaign under the MCD too. Under this, 10 guarantees will be announced, aiming to solve the woes of Delhiites.”
Currently, the list of candidates is to be decided based on on-ground surveys, and every application is to be accessed.
The office bearers are in charge of preparing for the election in all 250 MCD seats.The decentralised strategy of AAP regarding MCD was discussed, and instructions have been given to all AAP MLAs to monitor the Jansamvad campaign. A discussion was also held on the strategy of conducting more than 500 mass public dialogues every day.
Senior leaders of the party like Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai, and other MLAs were present at the meeting.
