AAP Launches Campaign Song, Targets BJP as ‘Galibaj Party’ Ahead of Delhi Elections

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched its campaign song, “Phir Layenge Kejriwal” (Will Bring Back Kejriwal Again), on Tuesday, gearing up for the highly anticipated Delhi Assembly elections. The catchy anthem aims to boost support for party leader Arvind Kejriwal, who seeks a third consecutive term as Delhi’s Chief Minister.

In a bold move, while targeting Ramesh Bidhuri, Kejriwal targeted the BJP in his speech, saying, “Hmare desh ki Gaalibaaj party ke netao ko bhi ye gaana pasand aayega to agar wo caahe to apne ghar me kamra band krke ye gaana chala skte hain or ispe thirak sakte hain” (The people of our country’s ‘Gaalibaaj Party’ will also like this song, and if they wish, they can play it in a closed room and dance to it). His remarks sparked a playful yet pointed jab at his political opponents.

 

 

Campaign Anthem Highlights AAP’s Achievements in Delhi

The 3.9 minute campaign song highlights AAP’s various welfare schemes, including advancements in education, healthcare, and public infrastructure in Delhi. Additionally, it emphasizes the party’s commitment to continuing these efforts for the betterment of the city’s residents. Calling the song a “Party and Dance” anthem, Kejriwal encouraged supporters to spread the message widely. “One of our songs was launched in 2015, another in 2020, and now this one in 2025. I know you were all waiting for it. Play this song everywhere, dance to it, and promote it widely,” Kejriwal said, energizing his supporters ahead of the polls.

Election Commission’s Announcement Imminent

The Election Commission of India (ECI) is set to announce the Delhi Assembly election dates, and the timing of the release aligns perfectly with this. The ECI will hold a press conference at 2 pm at Vigyan Bhawan to reveal the crucial details. With elections expected to occur before February 23, when the current assembly term expires. Delhi has traditionally conducted Assembly elections in a single phase.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh expressed confidence, stating, “This song will be a hit. Our slogan, ‘Phir laayenge Kejriwal,’ is perfectly echoed in this song. It will reach every home, and people will help Arvind Kejriwal win with a massive majority.”

As the Delhi Assembly elections approach, AAP is gearing up for a high-stakes battle to retain control of the 70-member Assembly. The release of “Phir Layenge Kejriwal” marks the beginning of the party’s intense campaign for a third term in power.
