Ghaziabad district administration has designated nine sites for the authorised sale and purchase of green firecrackers. This is the result of the Supreme Court’s ruling in favour of using firecrackers in Diwali. According to officials, cracker sales will be allowed only from October 18 to 20, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and only traders with valid temporary licences will be permitted to operate.
